The Soon to Be Ambassador

A satirical comedic play centred on the lives of five women who circulate the social scene as wives and consorts to Diplomats based in foreign countries. The play is a series of monologues- one from each character along with one scene at a cocktail party at which all the characters interact. The premise of the play is that the audience is meeting each character in preparation to attend a cocktail party. Each character takes the time and effort to present themselves in anticipation of this social event so as to best position themselves in the eye of the audience.
