I loved this book!
It is beyond amazing! I just got it yesterday, and I've already finished it! You must read this!
Uneven, But Entertaining
This anthology includes novellas by four established paranormal romance authors: "Ever Night" by Gena Showalter, "The Collector" by Shannon K Butcher, "Crystal Skull" by Jessica Andersen, and "Red Angel" by Deirdre Knight. While the collection was entertaining over all, the tales varied in quality. Butcher's entry had the biggest emotional punch, while Andersen's entry was the most exciting. Showalter's story started out interesting, but the ended quickly and anticlimactically. Knight's contribution was so slow and heavy with backstory that I started skimming and finally just jumped to the end. Only Andersen's "Crystal Skull" was interesting enough to inspire me to seek out her Nightkeepers series. "On the Hunt" is probably worth checking out from the library, but not worth buying.
