Serious flaws
Spoilers..........
In the beginning our heroine had a dog. She talks about him alerting her to the break in. The hero has a son. We never see either one of these again. He goes to her house, no dog, somebody breaks in her house, no dog. He says his son is on a camping trip with his sister. Apparently for the whole summer.
