From Flagstaff to Albuquerque, Santa Fe to Taos, and Dallas to Oklahoma City, he hooks up with a mountain man, a bottle-cap artist, and Cherokee, Cheyenne-Arapaho and Tesuque Pueblo Indians. But at the end of the road, it is an 85-year-old relative named Junior who could uncover the secret of Cox’s heritage.
