Hunt/Gather

His second book of poetry, Hunt/Gather confronts the difficulties of growing up rurally poor, imagines a funeral service for the Devil, and features a few poetic forms as well as the expansive free verse Mays is known for. Jacob Mays is a graduate of the Creative Writing: Poetry program of Columbia College Chicago. He lives in Pittsburgh and is a curator at The Night Gallery.
