Publisher Description
God’s Little Flock both past and present is a select group of faithful saints most often in the scriptures referred to as a (the) Remnant people. The word Remnant usually has the meaning of ‘the rest’ or ‘the remaining/remainder’ or ‘what’s left,’ and refers to a small portion of a greater whole. To all those whose heart’s desire is to see the Body of Christ function in the manner prescribed in the New Testament, these words Little Flock/Remnant take on monumental significance. In scripture the reference primarily is to a small portion of God’s faithful people in both the Old and New Testaments. The presence of a ‘godly’ Remnant will be noted throughout the entire Bible. Noah and his family are an example of a faithful few in the early days of the Old Testament. Many centuries later in the New Testament Christ Himself used the phrase, Little Flock: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s’ good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” Luke 12:32.
