In Love with the Wind

Ingrid Anderssen is Elevenish. As she puts it:



“I am not Native American. I am not a gypsy or an Easter Islander. I am not elvish or a witch or an alien or anything supernatural like that. I am Elevenish and I am not the only one. My parents, my brother, my sister, my sister’s husband and my niece are all Elevenish. At least two of my grandparents are. I never knew the other two and Pa doesn’t know anything about them. Pa was in a children’s home until he was eleven. Then he was adopted by Grandma Anderssen’s Kelly cousin once removed. We are Elevenish. We are also ordinary human people. Got that?”
