Publisher Description
"Twisty, grisly, genre-bending and immersive, Not Even Bones will grab you by the throat and drag you along as it gleefully tramples all of your expectations." —Sara Holland, New York Times best-selling author of Everless Dexter meets This Savage Song in this dark fantasy about a girl who sells magical body parts on the black market—until she’s betrayed.
Nita doesn’t murder supernatural beings and sell their body parts on the internet—her mother does that. Nita just dissects the bodies after they’ve been “acquired.” Until her mom brings home a live specimen and Nita decides she wants out; dissecting a scared teenage boy is a step too far. But when she decides to save her mother’s victim, she ends up sold in his place—because Nita herself isn’t exactly “human.” She has the ability to alter her biology, a talent that is priceless on the black market. Now on the other side of the bars, if she wants to escape, Nita must ask herself if she’s willing to become the worst kind of monster.

Amazing in love with the book
As someone who wants to be a writer this book really took me outside of mine and most writers comfort zone within character development! I was astonished to see that this author break the roles of stereotypical characters in books. well In books all I ever see is “good guy” and and “bad guy” with this they always make you root for the “good guy”, but in this book the characters are fighting their own morals and really toeing the line between good and bad. What truly makes someone humane vs monstrous? the whole time the main character is always comparing herself and saying well at least I’m not like him but in the second book she realizes his views may be more humane then her own.
You won’t regret picking this one up
Read this whole series in 2 days, ignoring all other responsibilities, after stumbling upon the WEBTOON, and I am so glad I did. This series was so much darker than what I would normally read, but the action was non-stop and I just couldn’t put it down. I felt like I was in a constant state of fight or flight the entire time I was reading, and to see the characters develop through pain was somehow so satisfying. I can’t wait to see what other work you come up with in the future! You’ve definitely gained a fan for life :)
