Sassbeaux Chronicles: Death In a House

Sheriff Xavier 'Zay' McKendree resided in Phoenix before marrying his wife Maya, and moving to her hometown of Sassbeaux, Louisiana. He hates the town and all of its secrets and is treated like an outsider even after being appointed Sheriff. The townspeople, including his wife, wanted him to believe in something that wasn't or couldn't be real.

Now, he was walking into town covered in blood that was not his own. He was still unsure of what had actually happened but, what he did know was that it all began with the disappearance of the former Sheriff and a death in a house.

What he uncovers while detecting the Sheriff's vanishing and the mysterious death in a house, would lead to a battle like none he'd ever seen and an outcome he cannot report.
