My San Francisco Highlander
This is the second book I have read by this author. The first book was action packed, had interesting characters who were well developed , and brought me back to the timeframe in which it took place in a very realistic manner. I thoroughly enjoyed it and looked forward to her next book.
I just finished reading the second book and I enjoyed reading it even more than the first. The setting is much closer in time to our current time but still required research to capture accurately the attitudes and vibes of that era. I found the characters and the descriptions of life at that time to be spot on. Without giving away any of the plot I feel the way that time travel was handled was plausible and fit perfectly into the storyline. I thought all of the characters were written very well with good background information provided as the story unfolded to explain their feelings and reactions.
Overall I would highly recommend this book to everyone. If you are a fan of this genre you will find this a welcome addition and if you are not familiar with this type of book you will enjoy the quality of the writing immensely. I am a big fan of this author and I look forward to more of her work in the future.
