In the first title of the Jane Jameson series, we meet our heroine: a recently fired librarian who—after drowning her sorrows with electric lemonades—is mistakenly shot by an equally inebriated deer hunter and wakes up as a new member of the undead. We loved following the formerly plain Jane as she navigates her way through the underworld (and the real world). Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs is a deliciously wicked, witty take on vampire romance.

I love this story and it’s wonderful beginnings to an extremely funny story. You have to read it.
The best
By far one of the very best authors in a long time, funny, witty and just a great read in which you will run to the store to buy the entire series. I look forward to each and every book she puts out.
Fun, funny and enjoyable.
Jane has been living an OK life. With a job she loves at the library, but with all the evil in the world. She’s fired, which leads Jane to drink some mudslides and meet a nice man named Gabriel. Then some stuff happens and ta da! she’s a Vampire. I’m a fan of most Vampire books and I do love when a writer makes their own spin on the myth. This story was really witty, Jane is actually pretty funny and I’m surprised she couldn’t just have a profession as a comedian. I mean they can basically work only at night.
You are thrown in this new world with Jane. Trying to keep it a secret from certain people, but as you know. Secrets can only last so long. Though, I did enjoy this and I think it’s a great start to a series. I kind of felt that I was just sitting there waiting, and waiting for something to happen. Don’t get me wrong I did like the witty banter and the useless knowledge. I didn’t really start loving it till more towards the end.
I loved her Aunt Jettie, she was also hilarious. You can see why Jane loved and missed her so much. They had a connection and even in the afterlife. I would of liked to see more of her. All the characters were really well written and they all had a voice in this story.
One quote holds true, “Anyone can show up for stuff like graduations and birthdays. Only the people who truly love you will help you move.” I couldn’t agree more.
Overall, as I said before this is an enjoyable read. So if you're looking for some fun, funny Paranormal then this is a series that would be good to start with....Lissa
