Loved it!
Rarely does a book give you exactly what you want, when you want it, but this book does exactly that. When you're saying "kiss her, kiss her!" he actually does!

This book was wonderful, even without the "good parts" this book is very entertaining!
Disappointed
I really like all the other books in this series. But this one let me down. Maybe I expected more from Minerva- she was always headstrong and independent. But in this book she seemed to give in too easily, and didn’t put up a good enough fight to being forced into a marriage. I also felt no real love between the characters, or maybe I was so angry at the everyone the whole time it was harder for me focus on the relationship. This book also particularly highlighted the sexism of the time- and while I’m aware this was a thing during this time- I’ve read plenty of historical romances that manage to not make me so angry. Her brothers- whom I liked in their books- turned into overprotective brutes and are completely unreasonable. I just think it was too much, I shouldn’t be so angry and frustrated throughout the whole book- so much so that I was unconvinced of the love between the two main characters.
