I got the first book in the series through Book Bub for $1.99. When I had finished it and fell in love with Annie and other characters, I just had to have the next one and then the third. What an interesting read about the Amish. I was born and raised in Southwestern PA, in a town called Ligonier. I have been to Amish country several times. And I recognized words that I have spoken all my life in these books. My maiden name was Ober and believe it may be of Pennsylvania Dutch origin.
