Sophea Long knows that escorting her octogenarian client to Europe will be an adventure. But Sophea hadn't counted on Mrs. P leading her right into the arms of a smoldering, dark-haired stranger who kisses like a dream. If only he'd give up all this nonsense about Sophea being some kind of dragon...

Than the Fire Inside
There's a reason Rowan Dakar is known as the Dragon Breaker. The last thing he needs is to fall for a woman who literally sets him aflame every time they kiss. After all, he has a mission-one that will finally free him of dragonkin for good. He can't afford to be distracted by the funniest, most desirable woman he's ever set eyes on. But no prophecy in the world can ever stop true love . . .

Mixed feelings

Am I the only one disappointed that there was three different main characters in this series. Unlike the light, silver and green series who had their three books, these characters kinda got brushed by and that was a huge disappointment. I like Katie McAllister style and characters but I feel like I got short changed and not able to know these characters as well as the others. But otherwise the series was funny. I agree that the other three series were better then this last one but still it left me wanting more. So happy Rowan became a dragon I was very upset thinking I wasn't going to get my dragon fix in. Maybe there can be one last long story bringing all our beloved characters through the whole series together? I will keep my fingers crossed.

Not as good as the previous two

I must say, I really enjoy this series. Katie did a wonderful job bringing me into her world. However, the third installment, Dragon Soul, was no where near as good as the first two. The Heroine, Sophea, was written to sound exactally like Aoife and Bee. The author phrased sentences, used specific words in place of profanity, the description of her female parts, and her reactions to foreplay and sex. It was as if I was reading about the sisters. I found that weird. I mean, Sophea should have been unique, but I did not feel she was. After a while it just became boring. I found my self rushing through the chapters trying to get to someone else speaking. I took me a couple of days to get through this book. Which was very disappointing, considering I constantly read the other two, Dragon Fall and Dragon Storm, until completion. Now that does not mean I did not enjoy a lot of the book. Mrs. P was a wonderfully developed character. I even enjoyed Rowan (human and dragonkin). As a human he was a little reserved, which is most likely due to the misunderstanding and being called the dragonbreaker. As a dragon he was so sexy, demanding, and protective. Almost immediately. I loved the change that happened so quickly after the event. I did not like that we only got a glimpse at Bee and Aoife and their respective dragons so briefly. I do love Constantine and Gary. They bring so much fun to the story. I also missed the other dragonkin in the book. I know it was the story of Rowan and Sophea, but she was so boring I almost quit reading several times. I will read other books by Katie because she draws me in so quickly and I really enjoyed this adventure. Enjoy this series.
