The Summer Sisters is book 2 in the Juniper Springs series by Sara Richardson, a continuation of the Buchanan sisters and Aunt Sassy.
The sisters are determined to have a long overdo family reunion between their mother and Aunt Sassy but first they need to get the Juniper Inn updated so they can re-open…but one thing after another happens.
Once you starts reading you can’t put it down. Family relationships, friendships, divorce, dilemmas, heartbreak, romance is just some of what is happening…
Fantastic
I was looking forward to reading this book, since I had previously read Home for the Holidays, where we met Aunt Sassy and her nieces, Rose, Dahlia, and Magnolia. In this book, Dahlia has moved to Juniper Springs with her two children, Maya and Ollie. Dahlia is attracted to the town doctor, Ike, but she has to puts her kids first, after her divorce. What will happen when he hires a gorgeous, female doctor? Rose is realizing she has feelings for Colt, but he plans to leave. Aunt Sassy has a medical issue she’s hiding from everyone. The sister’s mom, Lillian, still doesn’t want to have anything to do with Sassy. No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy reading about getting a second chance for love, no matter what age you are.
