She taught a god how to love.
Eden, a lonely widow, who lives in the forest by herself, prays to the Gods for fire. It's Winter and everything is damp and she's freezing. Just as she's about to give up, a spark lit the damp wood in the fire pit. To her surprise, Tyondric, the god of fire, was standing in her cottage and that's when her adventure began.
Fantastic story line! A lot happened cover to cover but for the shorter length of this book, the story line flowed smoothly. I would have liked the intimacy between the characters to start much earlier in the book and for there to be more of it but that didn't take away from the story itself. It was very entertaining. I was never bored. There were no unanswered questions. I loved the fact that these were sympathic gods and were willing to give humanity another chance in the form of this amazing woman. A woman who taught a god how to love. I have never been disappointed by the writings of Samantha Holt and I am happy to say that I loved this book as well. I can't wait to see what's next!
