'Tis the Season to Get Lucky

With a crazy snow storm outside, Kate has to deal with her phobia of being afraid of the dark. When the lights go out she latches onto the first safe thing in her path, which happens to be Ryder Sinclair and of course, Ryder doesn't mind having a sexy voluptuous woman plastered to his chest, even if it is from fear. Kate and Ryder are stuck in his father's department store because there's a freak snow storm outside and of course, they make the best out of the situation. When the storm's over and they go their separate ways, will one night have been enough?

You must read this totally sexy Christmas story! I'm surprised the department store's windows weren't steamed up completely. I love the fact that Ryder's character unfolded so beautifully. He started out as the spoiled son of the owner (or so we thought) and ended up a fun, loving, serious-about-life, amazing father, kind of man. Thank you Heidi Rice for writing such an amazing, feel-good story. I definitely look forward to reading more from this author in the future!

You’ll find that you’ll get a little jealous of how Kate and Ryder spend their Christmas. This would be a great read for Christmas Eve. And what a great way to celebrate with your significant other – think role-playing. This story will have you smiling at the end. It’s a great holiday tale. It also has me wanting to check out some of her other books. This novella series is turning out to be a great holiday find.
