This is so disturbingly good
I’ve never been so mad at a character. Paige’s actions hold true to the title. I can’t believe people are actually getting sucked into such blatant nonsense. The one thing that makes it worst is Paige had such a village of people on her side trying to lead her the right way. They gave her the blueprint of what to do and she still did the opposite. This is a serious case of “Lead a horse to water but can’t make it drink”. I usually sympathize with those who have no one in their corner, this is the opposite. Because usually the narcissist isolates them to manipulate them. She’s way to smart to be this “Dumb”. I mean even Kyra told her on several occasions she didn’t want to be with her and with her words and actions. She might even be worst than Lisa.
On a better note, As a Lesbian I have never rooted for the man to win the women’s heart. This book made me do that several times. I LOVED Loyal and Mario. They treated her like she deserved. I wish either one would’ve gotten her. I would’ve love that ending. But sometimes in real life things don’t work out that way. Still great writing I’m a big fan and I’ll continue to support all of your upcoming projects.
