Chloe admits to her strong attraction to Nick, but insists she has no time for a relationship between caring for her father, who has Alzheimer's, working long hours at Nick's coffee shop, and all her other responsibilities. But as Annie reminds Chloe that she needs to let others help her, Nick, emboldened by Annie's movie, works up the courage to show her how he feels. Chloe's hilarious inner-dialogue showcases her quick wit and smarts, even as externally she's awkward and clumsy. The snarky banter between Chloe and Nick is electric, and it's a joy to witness Chloe slowly opening up. Nick's quiet devotion to Chloe is swoon-worthy and sure to win over romance fans. This is a winner.

LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE!!
i cannot tell you all how much i enjoyed reading this! after Waiting for Tom Hanks i new i was gonna love this book too. The dialogue and just the way the story is written is so good and you never wanna put it down!! seriously loved this book and can’t wait for more books by Kerry Winfrey!
Character Flaws
I loved the beginning of this novel! The writing style was similar to the author’s first work and felt very conversational. However, towards the end I could not stand Chloe as a protagonist. Her actions and thoughts were immature and not worth the time to read. Personally, I also thought the plot was overworked and just kept on repeating itself. Cute novel but disappointing characterization 2/3 in. Thanks!
