The start of an action-packed teen series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Richard Paul Evans.

To everyone at Meridian High School, fourteen-year-old Michael Vey is nothing special, just the kid who has Tourette’s syndrome. But in truth, Michael is extremely special—he has electric powers. Michael thinks he is unique until he discovers that a cheerleader named Taylor has the same mysterious powers. With the help of Michael’s friend, Ostin, the three of them set out to discover how Michael and Taylor ended up with their abilities, and their investigation soon brings them to the attention of a powerful group who wants to control the electric teens—and through them, the world.

Cell 25

This was and interesting story theme and well written for middle school and intermediate level readers. Enjoyable characters with good action sequences

Lightning fast....

Zipped through the book like a lightning bolt (less than 24 hours - 8 hours of reading). An energized, en-lightening story with amped up action and charged teen romance. Sparks fly and emotions surge in this story with an under-current of social commentary.

Wow

This book was better then any I have read in a while. I think one of the best aspects of it was how it incorporated today's technology and things real people do everyday into the events and things that were done by the main cast. This added a realism into the book that scarcely is seen with other books. I would be in line over at barnes and nobles to get the next book if I had to, which i have a feeling that many others will be also. Excellent book for ages 10-old <- like me. Definite recommendation to read it NOW...
