Description
After Maureen's husband dies, she imagines that the years of abuse are over, but while looking for the Halloween decorations in the attic, Maureen finds a gift-wrapped GPS with her name on the box: an early birthday present from her late husband. When the voice from the machine starts giving her sinister directions, she learns that sometimes the dead are restless . . . and she's locked in a battle not just for her life but for her soul.

Great spooky story
I've never been a big fan of the horror genre but since I like Jennifer Weiner's work, I thought I would give this one a try. I was intrigued at how fast it came together and besides; how can you go wrong for 99 cents?
Wow! This story was fantastic! An incredibly detailed backstory puts you instantly in the main character's life and you find yourself feeling her emotions. I can't say much more without giving away the story but there are plenty of great twists packed into it's few pages. Read and enjoy!
Renewed Weiner
This felt like vintage Jennifer Weiner. Fresh, fast-paced and raw. Always the overweight heroine and water references, but well integrated into the creepy fun storyline. Any easy, quick read.
Amazing!
The only thing that is better than a short story by Jennifer Weiner is a full book by Jenifer Weiner :)
