Reiki Psychology

For me, Reiki Psychology is truly a watershed book that is nothing less than a work of art. Like the author, I am a Reiki Master and a licensed psychotherapist. I am also a college professor who has taught courses in Energy Medicine to medical students. For 30 years I have been a student and a practitioner of the healing arts ranging from shamanism to Qigong. In all my experience and all my research, I have never come across anything so simple and so powerful with such potential to heal not only one's physical and mental states but to heal our species and the planet as well.

To limit this book to psychology is like saying The Field of Dreams is about baseball. Dr. Shipon has created a clear, compassionate, concise (at a little over 100 pages) and accessible guide not only to a healthy psychology but a healthy life. I can think of only a handful of books that I have read that have achieved such authenticity and elegance. I will be ordering copies for all of my loved ones and friends.

All true artists recognize that they are not the source of their "creations." Something loving and beautiful has truly emerged through this author and his life.

After practicing Reiki for many years, this book put into words much of what I was feeling but unable to express, reducing complex issues into direct experience, the true source of what people call faith. The writing is crystal clear. The power and simplicity of the practice and symbols explained. This is a book I would have liked to have written myself and a great companion to "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. In fact, this Reiki practice is an excellent way to experience the power of now!!! Put aside the mental gymnastics of trying to think your way to divine experience. It's already here and thinking is probably what's keeping you from knowing and experiencing it.

When I saw this work in the iTunes bookstore and downloaded the sample, the Reiki in my palms quickened as if to say "this is important". I'm glad I paid attention and bought the book. I will recommend it to many.
