Description

Computer art is by nature evolutionary, relying on rapid changes in technology and software for the substance of its creative work, with so many traditional disciplines integrating digital technologies the lines between traditional works of art and new media works continue to blur. Defining computer art by its end product is difficult — the finished work can exist as an image, sound, animation, video, algorithm, CD, DVD, performance or as installation art. Perhaps a better definition can be found with the creator, an artist who uses the computer as his or her primary tool.
