If your tastes run more to horror than hydrangeas, check out these three short Exploratorium videos by Julie Konop. "Peter's Savage Garden" introduces Peter D'Amato, owner of California Carnivores and an expert on carnivorous plants- plants that boost their nutrient intake by luring, capturing, and consuming creatures from bugs to rats. In "Inside a Venus Flytrap," Peter opens a pitcher plant so you can see what's inside; in "Venus Flytrap Feast" he explains how the process works. This video was created by the Exploratorium and provided to the National Science Digital Library (NSDL).
