Great class
This is a wonderful resource for anyone interested in church history. The professor is easy to listen to and of course the content is crucial for understanding how we as the church got to where we are now.
Ancient Western Church History
This is a very good course on an introductory level. It is typically Western; it fails to cover the ancient Eastern Persian church which for centuries was the largest segment of Chrtianity covering more geography than all Western churches combined. Still, a very good course.
Fascinating information, but …...
The information presented in this course is interesting and well planned, however, the rate of speech of the instructor is extremely hard for me to listen to. His pauses within each sentence are not at commas, normal pausing points, or on specific words for emphasis, but between ordinary words several times in each sentence. It's a shame because this is something I really wanted to listen to.
