Description
Through a nation-wide series of public lectures called "Angels & Demons Lecture Nights: The Science Revealed", the particle physics community is using the release of the film "Angels & Demons" as an opportunity to tell the world about the real science of antimatter, the Large Hadron Collider, and the excitement of particle physics research. The national lectures series is sponsored by US/LHC, CERN, Fermilab, U.S. Department of Energy, and National Science Foundation. UA Physics Professor Dr. Louis J. Clavelli attempts to separate science fact from science fiction relative to antimatter as portrayed in Dan Brown's book, "Angels & Demons", and the movie based thereon starring Tom Hanks and Ayelet Zurer. This lecture was sponsored by The College of Arts and Sciences Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Great informative and entertaining
Dr Clavelli is an expert in the field having studied under the Nobel Laureate Yoichiro Nambu, he is an excellent guide through the otherwise obscure frontier of modern theoretical physics.
