Description
Brendan Murphy consults for the College Board, and he teaches at John Bapst High School in Bangor, Maine. The is the second installment of Brendan using video to help teach AP Calculus over distance as part of the AP4ALL project in Maine. The AP4ALL project helps Maine schools broaden their course offerings by providing educational opportunities online. This series of podcasts illustrates many AP Calculus BC concepts, similar to the collection Brendan created in 2007-08 for AP Calculus AB. These podcasts were made in a very low-tech manner, using the built-in camera on a MacBook and Quicktime Pro. Although they likely will not be nominated for any video-production awards, they are created simply and regularly by a busy classroom teacher where ease of technology use is key to their creation.
