Description
BIOL 121 is intended for students who contemplate careers in Allied Health fields. Topics include: basic body organization; functional biochemistry; cytology and histology; the study of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, and respiratory systems, with an emphasis on normal anatomy and physiology with clinical applications. My podcasts are mostly pre-recorded videos in which I explain and illustrate essential anatomy and physiology concepts in order to supplement students' learning in both the laboratory and lecture. I use a digital tablet to annotate photographs and diagrams, as well as to draw simple sketches that students can copy as they follow along. Most of my podcasts are 5-minutes in length, with several related podcasts grouped together into 10 to 15-minute sets. I hope you find my podcasts a helpful addition to your human anatomy studies!
