Description
Biologists who understand computing, engineering, and math are ushering in the century’s breakthroughs in life sciences, medicine and public health. And all of this has led to new and exciting biology-related classes and options for college graduates. Biology fused with other subjects creates new fields such as biochemistry, biophysics and bioinformatics. Biology students at NJIT go on to not only medicine, but an increasing number of them work in newer and well-paying fields such as computational biology, biomedical engineering, and bioinformatics. And biology is an especially rewarding major for students who interested in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or environmental fields.
