Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine serves 61,000 patients and admit over 15,000 for additional care to the hospital a year. The ED has 61 beds and is a level-l trauma center. Academically, the Emergency Department has 29 residents, and seven medical school rotations including Acute Perioperative Care Clerkship, EM Elective, Peds EM Elective, Wilderness Medicine, EM Ultrasound Elective, EM Medical Toxicology, Remote Area Medical (RAM) Expedition - Wise VA and SLC-Guatemala - Service, Language, Culture in the Highlands of Guatemala. This podcast contains lectures from EM faculty members that teach both clinically and in the classroom on a regular basis.

Love the podcast
I'm a 3rd year medical student and an up and coming FM doc interested in urgent care and preventive medicine. The podcast are very informative and funny. Great for listening on the go for step 2 or step 3. They always seem to incorporate some of the classical clinical presentations that u see on exams; and then of course the real life ones too. I love this podcast and listen to it every chance I get.
