Description
The division of Film, Photography and New Media focuses on the still and moving image, whether generated digitally or through more traditional means. The division houses undergraduate degrees, focused on either practice-based or study-based exploration of the moving image, as well as postgraduate awards. Students benefit from teaching by an expert team of lecturers, many of whom come from professional careers and continue their practice through research projects at the University. Practical work is underpinned by theory and subject history is partnered with an awareness of contemporary developments in each respective medium.
