Leadership for Innovation Based Growth on Sunday, 6 March 2011 in Abu Dhabi from 6.30 p.m. to 08.00 p.m. on 2nd Floor, INSEAD Abu Dhabi Campus Innovation is at the heart of the growth strategy for the economy of Abu Dhabi and the UAE, but it is companies that innovate not economies. This session will bring together three panelists who can offer different perspectives on these facts. The Panelists: Prof. Rita Gunther McGrath, Associate Professor, Columbia Business School, will discuss how senior executives need to frame and establish the commitment to growth through innovation. Prof. Hal Gregersen, Affiliate Professor of Leadership, INSEAD, will discuss the roles senior executives, managers, and employees play in building highly innovative teams and organizations. Ms. Najla Al Midfa, Manager of Entrepreneurship Development, Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, will discuss the efforts of Khalifa Fund to encourage the growth of innovative enterprises.
