Great! but where

This has really enhanced my knowledge of Marx, but I was disappointed that there wasn't a lecture by Murray Rothbard. The lecture by Gary North seems to indicate (nearer to the end) that Rothbard spoke at this event, but there is no audio for it posted.

What you never knew you wanted to know about Marx

I'm very pleased with the depth and breadth the speakers went into in their presentations. I wish the discussion by Rothbard alluded to by the speakers was included in this series, and I'm unsure at the same time what additional information he may have added. The individual speakers covered every aspect of Marx's philosophy and his important theoretical underpinnings.

Good Overview of Marx Given the Inherent Time Restraints

Some of the speakers make reference to Gorbachev, indicating the 1988 reference point of these lectures. This is is only a problem in certain places when the speakers talk about fixed and transitory capital. One speaker state something to the effect of (Im paraphrasing) "If Marx was right and we were to only view capital in a transitory state, then it would be ridiculous to do business in America, and we would see a massive movement of corporations overseas to find the cheapest sources of labor.Obviously this is not the case". Obviously this is the case in the globalized, free trade world of the 21st century; which may lead some to argue the Marxism is not nearly as dead as these lectures portray it.

Other than being a little dated, the lectures were very solid and informative. I recommend them highly.
