In our modern technologically-based economy, the creation and enforcement of patent rights can make or break a business. With record numbers of patents being issued every year, the stakes for inventors (and, indeed, their lawyers) continue to increase, even as the patent law and its administration faces growing criticism. This course seeks to equip students with a detailed overview of the law and policy of the United States patent system.

Where are the slides?
Hmm class 1 doesn't play, also where can I find Slides?
Work around for the no video bug.
Just started the series and have learned a tremendous amount.
As harold said the slides did not show up and episode 1 didn't play. I figured out that if you play the .mp4 files in realplayer or hit space with the file selected in finder (Mac 10.6.8) then you can get the video to play and be able to skip around.
