Eh.... outdated but still good info
some of the information is good but outdated which makes it hard to learn from. also the phleb in the video needs a pair of gloves that are two sizes smaller! another thing, if your learning the skill of phlebotomy please do not have the patient "pump" their fist it can cause the blood to hemolize making the specimen not as accurate
Not good
Not a very good instructional video. She did not follow the order of draw at all. Also you are NEVER to use your finger to activate the safety device. You should always activate the safety device away from yourself and the patient on a hard surface. If you need to learn how to collect blood you are going to need much more than this brief and inaccurate video.
