Description
Textual criticism would not be possible without the great men and women that have blazed the trail in this discipline. In this series, the stories of great men like Bruce Metzger, Constantin von Tischendorf, B.F. Westcott, and F.J.A. Hort will be told. These are stories of faithful commitment, ardent scholarship, and crucial discovery. Without the work of these men, the Bible as we know it today would have a much different shape.

The Work of Hoskier and the Vision of CSNTM
The video on Herman Hoskier was compact and extremely informative—helping the listener to understand at least one of the ultimate goals of NT textual criticism—a genealogical examination of a genuinely complete collation of all extant manuscripts for a particular NT book. Further, it was great to hear that CSNTM is on a mission to supply scholars with the resources they need in order to continue such ambitious research. Thanks!
