Description
Sampling of lectures from the conference Ramification in Algebra and Geometry, held at Emory University, 16-20 May 2011. The conference brought together international experts to discuss topics such as the arithmetic of linear algebraic groups and homogeneous spaces; division algebras and the Brauer group; essential dimension; Chow groups and motivic decompositions; generic Galois extensions; and the Brauer-Manin obstruction. These recordings were sponsored by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation.
