Description
The lectures below seek to build upon a growing interest in the history of biblical interpretation. Leading Christian scholars explored several chapters in Matthew’s Gospel that have often been viewed as the very heart of Jesus’ teaching. A wide range of example figures as an occasion for ethical reflection and moral formation were used in this event. These lectures were part of the 2005 event co-sponsored with the Wheaton College Bible Theology Department.
