Description

How can I use technology and social media to enhance my college experience? Students will seek the answer to this question by creating and sharing stories, images, and videos. Today’s technologies can be used for entertainment and social networking, but they can also be used to discover answers and construct knowledge, both communally and individually. Through selected readings, videos, and podcasts, as well as hands-on group projects, students will gain insight on how technology can be used to collect and share knowledge. Potential pitfalls and “gotchas” will also be discussed. Course activities will include journaling, document sharing, podcasting, and video production. This course is suitable for both cyber geeks and technophobes. Technology experience is welcome, but not necessary. This course is taught by Lisa McNeal, who is an instructional developer, adjunct professor , and wannabe podcaster.

Great shorts

However, the first in the series you have a grown young woman sounding lile a child, which is annoying juxtaposed against a deep male voice. I couldn't finish listening.
