Mineral resources and energy security are of paramount importance to all economies. Export restrictions and investment measures have been left largely to individual or regional regulatory regimes. In conjunction with some of the key objectives of The Tim Fischer Centre (for Global Trade and Finance), the primary goal of this interdisciplinary conference was to host a forum to enable discussion.
