Between the Lines is exactly that. Not just a live concert, but a film capturing what happened backstage and in the days surrounding our Fillmore show. It's a personal portrait of who I am, where I come from, and includes a performance in Sausalito with my best friends... all against the Northern California Coast.

Beautiful music with great cinematography
Sara Bareilles is most popular for her songs "Love Song" and "Bottle It Up". However, once you dig beneath the surface, you will find great classics that are wonderfully arranged and performed in this concert. For the record, this concert is not live start to finish. In the middle of some songs, the editors place in brief interviews with Bareilles and her commentary that leads into the next live song. In some live songs, it cuts between the Fillmore performance and a different, more acoustic performance. However, if iTunes offers it, the unedited videos of both the Fillmore and acoustic version are in the bonus features menu. Most exciting is Bareilles's harbinger for her new album, which will probably be released next year. She plays the guitar on a new song, "August Moon", which, according to Billboard, will be on her second album, along with the song "Little Voice", which was cut from "Little Voice". Bareilles performs most of her songs from "Little Voice" in this concert, and if you like "Little Voice", you'll enjoy this concert. It is a live version of all of the "Little Voice" classics, including my favorite, "Between the Lines". Many of the arrangements are different, giving each song a new life. "Between the Lines: Live at the Fillmore" is definitely an investment, and is worth every dollar.
Live Sara = Real Sara
Don't get me wrong, little voice is a 5 stars but this live performance shows what Sara B. is truly capable of, she has a voice that i haven't heard in years and she sounds way better live than in the studio wich for what music is all about right now, you know that fake stuff we see on mtv, is a HUGE thing...at least for me...she remind me why i like music sooo much...and that is because music is a way to express what you are feeling and what you think, and she has this awesome talent of writing smart lyrics and beautiful music to express herself and she has at least for me the most beautiful voice i have ever heard..you can hear that Sara is really feeling what she is singing and we can hear her soul just the way it is, there is nothing in the middle and she opens her heart so we can see whats on it...i am completely in love with Sara Bareilles and her music, she is truly one in a trillion and we need more people like her. Danny Clinch and Pablo Casaverde did an awesome job with the production, it really looks and sounds great, and i love that there are small fragmentes where we get to hear why she wrote some songs, and Sara will sure get you a laugh or two with his cool personality. I can only sit and wait to see what's next on Sara Bareilles music career and i am pretty sure and bet my soul on it that it will be amazing Ps Best ending credits EVER.

Sara Barellies is one of the most gifted new artists and that is no joke. I like this movie cause it shows how good she is live and that she has a voice. If you love Sara, you'll love this!!
