Plot Summary

In 1936, the Wollners, a German family living in Town Creek, West Virginia, are contacted by the Third Reich to host a visiting scholar. In need of money, they accept Professor Richard Wirth into their home, unaware of the Third Reich’s practices in the occult or Wirth’s real mission, which will keep the family bound for decades to come. Now, in 2007, after mysteriously disappearing two years ago near Town Creek, Evan Marshall’s older brother Victor suddenly returns, very much alive and having escaped his captors. Evan asks no questions; at his brother’s request, he loads their rifles, packs their boat and follows Victor back to Town Creek on a mission of revenge that will test them in every possible way.

Customer Reviews

Great Movie

I bought this movie based on the Reviews alone. I was very hesitant to pay $14.99 for a movie before I have had a chance to rent it, but as I said the reviews sold me. I was not in the least disappointed with my purchase. I did notice some inconsitancies with the story line (Which I will not go into), but that did not take away from the very original storyline, great acting, movie backdrop choosen very well and there was no lag in the action. I recommend this movie to any horror movie buff or someone looking for something a little bit different.

great

i loved this movie, to be honest though, it wasnt that scary like i thought it was going to be. great story, great plot, definitly worth buying.

Good Horror Movie

Henry Cavill is great in this movie. The movie has a good story, maybe could have been a little scarier, but well worth seeing.
