Rotten: As it slides wearily into worn-out sex thriller conventions, Chloe becomes tedious and mechanical. When it's over, you're left feeling kind of cheap.
Rotten: Egoyan is an expert at isolating people, but he's less sure of himself when it comes to how they connect. So what happens to the character of Chloe is the worst kind of surprise, the "Huh?" that throws you fatally out of the movie.
Fresh: The film finds real sensual heat whenever Moore and Seyfried are together, and Egoyan and cinematographer Paul Sarossy turn up the thermostat by making Toronto locales seem exotic and vaguely sinister.
Fresh: This is a high-toned erotic thriller, handled with style and some emotionally raw scenes, aiming for an effect that's pleasingly unnerving, if not outright arousing.

I liked it....
Uh....it was good. I think it had a good message if you looked passed all the nudity, sex, and well...nudity it basically just brought to the forefront the fact that everyone wants to be loved. Sometimes who or what doesn't matter, we just need love. It helped that Amanda Seyfried is like one of my favorite actresses. I think it was a good movie and it definitely showed her versatility as an actress.
if you like Amanda it's a must see. And if you have a crush on her.... prepare to fall in love.

Chloe
Good movie, this movie is exactly what you should expect from a sony pictures production, it makes you think and a tad on the dark side. It's not straight forward and had good plot twists. The acting was outstanding, not overdone. The controversy about the same sex scene...Being a straight woman, the 5 minute same sex scene was extremely sensual and i didn't need to see it, but it's reality. So i suppose homophobes this is not for you, but really it's only 5 minutes of a 96 minute movie. Overall good indie movie and great performances by Julianne Moore, Amanda Seyfried, and Liam Neeson.
