Plot Summary
In 2009, Columbia Pictures' and Sony Pictures Animation's Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children's book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain. Bill Hader, star of "Saturday Night Live" and Night At the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, will voice Flint Lockwood, a young inventor who dreams of creating something that will improve everyone's life. Anna Faris, who recently turned heads as the star of the comedy hit The House Bunny, takes on the role of Sam Sparks, a weathergirl covering the phenomenon who hides her intelligence behind a perky exterior. James Caan plays Tim Lockwood, Flint's technophobic father. Andy Samberg plays Brent, the town bully who has plagued Flint since childhood. Bruce Campbell plays Mayor Shelbourne, who figures out that Flint's invention can put the town, and more importantly himself, on the map and Mr. T plays the by-the-rules town cop Earl Devereaux.

Fresh: This film wasn't made for you, or me. It was made for dangerously easily distracted 9-year-olds. And at least the never-enough aesthetic extends to its sheer, Augustus Gloop volume of sight gags.
Fresh: So what could be better than an endless supply of jellybeans and ice cream? Only a multiplex permanently stocked with smart, sweetly silly family films like this one.
Fresh: Food has never been funnier than it is in the spirited, animated family film Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.
Fresh: But it's fun, it has some good messages and what kid won't enjoy seeing pancakes flatten a roof and an ice-cream blizzard that you can eat while you play in it? Especially when it's presented in colorful 3-D splendor?

...finally an animated movie you wont bother taking the kids to... cause it
A really funny movie and great entertainment for kids. If you love Dexters Laboratory or Powerpuff Girls then you'll appreciate the approach that this fast paced movie takes. It's not a bore and it's not just for kids..I know a lot of people say that but it's true for this one.
I took my little brother and sister to see it and I think I liked it more than they did...
My only criticism lies in the price that iTunes has it for. $14.99 for a digital file of a movie? We're not getting the packaging or anything...so why are we paying the same price of a packaged copy?
Most Amazing..
This movie is not just for children, it's for the children in all of us adults too! The animation is beautiful, bright and cheery. The story is captivating, interesting and hilarious! I went into the theater expecting a dud, something more for children but left pleasantly surprised and have been raving about this movie since I had seen it. There was never a dull moment, never a time I caught myself sighing in anticipation of something else to happen... I cannot say enough positive things about this movie... just go see it... you will enjoy it... I promise!
Not only the best film of the 2009
But may be one of best movies, ever! Original story and plot, and the best jokes in a childrens movie. Great movie, definately see it.
