If you are a lover of life, music and comedy then this movie is for you. Some of the best live Hip-Hop performances ever on film! Wish we could rent it but I'm still gonna buy it!
This is hip-hop
This is a great movie for people who love hip-hop. I have not personally been to a concert that had anyone like mos-def, common, Erykah Badu, and/or The Roots(Not all the artists in this movie) but this sure as hell is a close second. It's also awesome to see dave in a "behind the scenes" fashion. I am a Ohioian so it's nice to know we have such a great comedian living close by.
I was there! I also supported it in the theater
I happend to be picking up my son from daycare a couple days before the concert when I came across the production vans setting up. It was supposed to be on the dl. But having worked production in the past I knew something was up. I snooped around and got answers. Couple of days later I was there! This was one of my favorite all time music moments!!! To see all of my favorite current artists rocking the stage together- basically okay player family- was mind-blowing. I left (got cold) right before the Fugees performed!!
