Both are hell-bent on staging a self-proclaimed revolution of the music industry. Show's the genius of Anton....

....and the depths of his self-indulgence. While the fundamental story line is about the rivalry between the two bands, and the disfunction within BJM, on closer inspection you will see the brilliance of BJM's music, and the relative shallowness of the Dandy's tunes. All in all, a fabulous documentary, despite Newcombe's attempts to distance himself from it.

It good. Me Like. :)

Good movie!

I really enjoyed this movie. As tour movies go this really is excellent. I've been a Dandys fan for a long time and would liked to have seen more of Courtney, Zia and rest of the band, but the BJM is just such a wacky band just waiting to have a movie made about them. Anton is quite possibly mentally ill to the point of being dangerous to himself and others, but getting to watch his epic, well known, toddler style melt downs is worth the admission!
So if you like rock n roll tour movies watch this one!
