Plot Summary
A sexy woman discovers just how hard it can be to find a worthwhile man in this outrageous romantic comedy. Rebecca (Jenny McCarthy) is a beautiful blonde who thinks she has it made with her hunky boyfriend, Richard (Victor Webster); however, when she comes home early one day and finds him in bed with another woman, she realizes that isn't quite the case. Devastated, Rebecca takes the advice of her friends Carrie (Kam Heskin), a half-bright actress, and Michelle (Carmen Electra), a racially confused beautician, and throws herself back into the dating game to prove to Richard that she can do better. However, there's a problem — Rebecca is a bit of a klutz, she keeps ending up with men who are either crazy or strange, and each date she goes on ends in disaster. Does Rebecca have any chance at either finding new love or winning Richard back? And is it possible her pal John (Eddie Kaye Thomas) might be interested in being more than just friends? Dirty Love was written by leading lady Jenny McCarthy and directed by John Asher, McCarthy's then-husband.

Awesome movie
Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra prove that hot women can be incredibly funny. Eddie Kaye Thomas is amazing in this movie as the best friend you don't realise is perfect for you. I have told all of my friends to buy this movie for the past three years. just beware there are alot of over the top sexual situations so avoid if you are easily offended.
Where do I start?
This movie was genuinely bad. McCarthy isn't very good at acting. Electra's fake ghetto thing was insulting and horrid; so obviously fake. The script was poorly written. When is the director responsible?
Look, I rented it because I like a stupid laugh just like the next person but damn...this was a B movie all the way.
You know when you start watching a movie and a few minutes into it you start wondering to yourself if what you're seeing is bad? You see someone freaking out on Hollywood blvd and think "wow, that looks really fake." Then you hear some really bad accents and quirky behavior that looks like it's supposed to be funny but you're not laughing? That was this movie.
I'm guessing they filmed it in LA because it was super cheap. All the actors could go home at night. All the catering consists of lunch time visits from the Togo's deli 10 foot sub sandwich menu. "What's for lunch today Jenny? Subs again? Damn!"
Ok, I see all the positive reviews so I know there must be a group of people out there who liked this. I'll give in to that. And I can see where film makers were trying to be funny. But for this 41 yr old male, their attempt to find that elusive, intangible, quirky humor...failed miserably. For me, this movie was just aweful. I'm glad it only cost me 99 cents.
