Equal parts punk, americana and Morrisey

     

I wouldn't recomend this to everyone, but it is the type of thing I can highly recommend to a few like minded friends- which are the best kind of recommendations, arguably. I find his music fresh and innovative. He has a great sense of building tension with the limited sound palate at his disposal. His melodies have a way of sounding both flat and florid at the same time. The sound quality is very good for a live gig, the camera work largely gets out of its own way. The whole thing holds together in a raw, ragtag kind of way- perfect for the music.
