Not to say this is a bad movie, but with the name frankenstein you want to see some sort of monster terrorizing a village or something. This story is about Baron Frankenstein and his quest to obtain some records for brain surgery/transplanting. It is no longer about him creating a creature but him practicing brain surgery. It is not a bad movie but don't go with the idea that you're going to have a monster terrorizing anyone. It is more as is Peter Cushing plays an evil man who is corrupt, evil and without morals. He is a great actor and the movie is somewhat interesting. Would wish that a creature would come out. Watch the 1931 Frankenstein which is better.
Peter Cushing at his best!
This movie is great with Peter Cushing playing the role of Baron Frankenstien perfectly! It's the best Hammer Frankenstien movie and one of Hammers best movies. It was directed by Terrence Fisher who did another great job of directing this awesome movie! It's a must see film for any fans of horror movies, especially if you like Peter Cushing!
