Plot Summary
A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they've been left behind, dangling high off the ground with no way down.

Fresh: A nifty little chiller that balances its cold terrain with an unexpectedly warm heart.
Fresh: The film moves along, in its paradoxically static way, at a pretty fair clip. I look forward to Green's follow-up.
Rotten: Frozen has its work cut out for it, since the main characters are so annoying you initially pray for an avalanche to just get it over with.
Rotten: Frozen is good for five minutes of "What would you do if?" games. Then it's just stiff as a board.

Awful
Come on - who goes skiing nowadays without a cellphone? Who would take their gloves off on a chairlift for a smoke, knowing they could be up there 5 days? If this was an ironic spoof it might work, unfortunately it takes itself way too seriously and expects you to do the same despite having the most implausible plot of all time. I was rooting for the wolves.

Seriously, don't listen to the morons saying that this film is not believable and stupid. The film is not boring at all, despite a somewhat slow beginning, but actually keeps you on the edge of your seat. Yeah there are some moments when they're stuck where nothing is going on, but its called character development people. It makes you care about the characters and feel emotion for them as they have this hell event happening to them! Overall, I did enjoy the movie despite the ending being somewhat abrupt and sad, but its definitly worth renting!
Excellent movie
Great acting throughout and brilliant story. You really felt for the characters. Buy or rent this, you won't be disappointed. Hard to watch in parts, it tears at the emotions and has you on the edge from beginning to end. Watch it and see. The girl was just amazing.
